Turned VATS off a 2004 Corvette, car start for 1 injector plus then dies. Acts like the VATS is still enabled. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Did it run properly before you attempted to turn the VATS off?
No, pick up the vette without its original engine, using a built 2002 LS1 with a P01 PCM, map out VATS to none, I usual just mod PCM in swap hot rods, never have an issue. I'm going to re-pin the P01 (Blue/Red) harness to a P59 (Blue/Green) and use the original 2004 PCM.
Did you "write entire"? On the PO1's I have, when the VATS is active the car will start/run, just won't run after the VSS reaches the set point.
I have never tested which one does what, at this point I will take your word for it. I took delivery of one that would start/run but would stop running after it reached 2mph. We know this was the VATS VSS threshold as set in the PCM and the key and lock cylinder were not reading correctly putting it into theft mode. The PCM already had the column lock set to not fitted. The only thing I did at that point was turn the VATS off and write entire. The car would operate above 2mph at that point.
I know the OP needs to do some diagnosis but what usually causes them to start but not run as is his problem or what are the typical pitfalls when swaps are done that cause this problem?
