2014 5.7 ram. Owner installed a performance cam but specs unknown. Every time I get the idle close to stable, I get the p061 code and it goes into reduced power. If I back off of my setting some, I get no code but it dies. I need help

Yeah I do actually, I think I am on the right track now. I found a thread that said to max out the diagnostics for several codes (this one included) that I had not run across yet. Making much better progress now but not exactly what I would have imagined. Check these out.tune so far log.hpl

So this issue now is that the throttle body does not follow the pedal for the first 20% of pedal travel or so. Then when it starts to, it will either die or start surging back and forth. I believe that this is from transitioning from idle adaptive airflow to pedal follower. idle adapt says one thing and pedal follower along with torque requests says another so it is getting confused. I plan today on calibrating the new idle throttle opening requirement to the requested torque and see if I can figure that out.

So it turns out that It was all in the ve table. Once that is close then the rest kinda falls into place. This things is no very smooth to drive though that is for sure. It actually drives bad. Like small jerks and hiccups all the time. My other issue is that it only drives at all without dying if I have the ve table set to what I would have thought was absurdly low. Like 40% of what it was originally.
