(MPVI3) Interface not opened: not found

Hey everyone, i recently purchased a new MPVI3. Every time I connect it to my laptop, open editor or scanner and go to the Info icon and I get the error as follows:

Interface not opened: Not Found

It's not recognizing that my interface is plugged in. If I completely uninstall and re-install VCM suite, I can occasionally get it to recognize and provide info.

With either the editor or scanner open if I try to resync interface it says "Please connect an MPVI device". It seems as though the software or my computer will not recognize that the interface is connected.

I have tried going to documents>HP Tuners>settings> and deleting license.dat file, but it did not work. Any help will be appreciated.

I would recommend opening a support ticket.

Try a different USB cable. My cable would only work as a "charger" out of the box, no communication.
Tested with multiple other USB cables and had no issues connecting.
