    Standalone not working anymore

Been having an issue with the mpvi3 device not logging standalone, it used to just fine even after replacing the vehicle ecm
Usually use my laptop for logs but when im just going to and from work or longer easy drives its nice not having the laptop lugging around.

2012 Cruze e78 (ecm replaced ~2 months ago after i bricked it turning the key off in the erase sequence)
I have checked triggers have it just set to short press for on/off
skimmed down the channel config to less than what it was doing before
Updated vcm suite and resycned device while plugged into the vehicle, key on

anytime i press the button it acts like it's starting and going but never does and no logs saved. Light sequence is: blinking blue, purple, blue, pause, solid green.
    Scanner is beta 5.1.3656
    Mpvi3 Firmware is 5.3.45

anyone else having this issue?. looking online ive tried the troubleshooting tips and none have worked for me.
As im about to be going on a vacation starting a support ticket will have to wait as i wont be home to go through their troubleshooting steps for a couple weeks. Also out of Warranty period.

Same issue here, 05 LQ9 in a 99 Tahoe. P59 computer. The MPI3 says it is connected but does not download the configuration. Tried five times following the manual exactly (I think). Is there a video that shows start to finish setting up the device and actually making a log? Do I have to have the vehicle registered for this function to work? Any help is appreciated.

That helped. What I was doing wrong was trying to get the vehicle set up with my remote flash harness then transferring it to the vehicle. What I needed to do is set it up with the laptop and synchronize it in the vehicle, not just with the PCM hooked to a flash harness. Thank you
