Ignition timing questions
I want to know what you guys have for timing and want to know some general thoughts on some things. When going from a stop or doing some cruising throttle acceleration around 30-55 mph im having some stuttering and Im pretty sure its ignition timing. Below is an image of my timing now, but before hand I had my timing between 13-16 in this area, roughly, and it drove good. The next day it drove terribly with no changes in the tune. It drove like I needed more timing in it. So I have disabled all adaptive ignition adders on it and have upped the timing across the board. 2.5k rpm and up seems to really like 20-25 degrees of timing, with a little bit of detonation here and there that I will address soon. I want to know your guys' opinion on this much ignition timing in this range in this picture as I have notice this range is used alot when accelerating from a stop or low speed cruise. VCM reads exactly what the boarderline table is set to so there is no questions about different ignition adders as stated previously that I have disabled them. Even with this much timing it does not detonate as far as I am hearing. When I press on the throttle it bucks and hesitates until I get to 2.5k+ rpm. Any help is apricated and if you guys have any questions about the setup do let me know. Thank you. RPM is up top and engine load is on the leftimage.png
