DQ250 error and tuning help?

So i connected to my 2012 TDI. Obviously cannot read the ECM but it has a DQ250 DSG and I can read that, I believe. When I try to ?read? the file this is what it says. ? If you are trying to read the TCM at the DSG plug end, please contact HPTuners support. If you are trying to read the TCM through the OBD2 port, please proceed with the stock generated file. ?

But then I can go in and make changes. Second question is where can I learn or understand what changes to make? Not much support online that I?ve seen.

That warning is normal for the DSG, you should be fine to use it with the readout provided.

Changes would depend on what you are looking to adjust. Adjusting shift rpm's, shift times, and torque limiters (if the ECU is tuned) will have the largest impact on drivability.

It is Eco tuned/deleted. So like a Stage .5

So what?s the best thing to do? Just increase the shift times little by little? I don?t want to mess anything up, but like I said not much info online about to. I?m from the GM world and a lot of info online about tuning them.
