    96 LT1 OBD2 Service Engine Light ???

Before you all chastize me, I know this is not a HPT software suppported vehicle/engine.

I'm running a '96 Z28 LT1 operating system in a '96 LT1 caprice. Z28 OS allows me to log more PID's. The service engine light comes ON and sets code (P0153). HPT scanner shows SES as OFF. Dash light is ON. I can reset it using another OBD2 scanner as it shows the light is ON. O2 sensor voltages cycle as normal and voltages are ok.

    ??????

    BTW
The HPT scanner and datalogging works fine (LTFT, STFT, MAP, RPM etc) for all different vehicles.
I log with the HPT scanner and edit the PCM file using Tunercat for OBD2, unlimited VIN capability.

    Suggestions??

    Respectfully,
    AkNovaMan

DTC's are not generically supported with HPT so that could be the reason it isn't showing DTC's.

    But it's a generic O2 sensor code.....Oh well.

It seems odd that it logs the data as correct but still sets the code.

Whacked O2 sensor extension cable, resulting in erratic voltage readings.
