So,
I have a fox with an LS 5.3, Twin Woohan war whistles and a glide. It's set up to grudge race on 28" tires. It like all cars is a work in progress.
I have the HP Tuners CORE ECU installed and running. It has been for some time. We are still working out all the details to do some dyno testing very soon.
I will try my best to answer questions about CORE. Just know that I am an end user. I have NO affiliation with HP other than using their products and working with their engineers.
Straight up. The Holley TermX is much cheaper. This does not compare to that. If you shop at Walmart for your groceries and good enough will do, it's for you.. moving on.
The Core compares more to the Dominator, Haltech 6+ and Motech. You basically have total control of everything. And when HP comes up with new features you can just flash them in just like flashing a stock ECU. no more; that only works in version 3, as you can write the OS from VCM not just the tune. Think about not caring how many teeth are on the flywheel... just pick the tune for that. You can make your own screens in VCM Live and put anything you want on them.
So don't @ me about how you think this that or the other is better, I don't care. Be happy to talk about core but lack the desire to fire fight brands..
Best,
Keith
