    BA XR6T injector scaling

    Evening folks,
anyone care to cast their eyes over my tune and see where I'm going wrong?

it's a BA XR6 Turbo, pulsar turbo, Bosch 980 injectors, walbro 460 pump and valve springs.

base fuel pressure is 65psi, ive drilled the return venturi to 4mm and the stock reg to 3mm

fueling is way lean, it runs well, but sits on 16;1 af at idle and the more I drive the leaner it gets,

to the point it sits up on 18;1af

id be keen to see what people think,

i have been thinking about this and have done a few more checks, the current draw with the 460 is at 15A @ 65psi, I guess when it goes into boost the fuel pressure will rise and if the pressure rises the current draw will to, I would assume 15A is on the edge if the standard wiring and plug, and it is only a skinny rod engine, so I'm going to down size to a walbro 255 pump they are rated at 8A @ 58psi, much kinder on the standard wiring and a 255 will support 300rwkw.

Those are very good injectors but they suffer from bad data.We have developed a p&p data fro those that runs like stock Ford - happy to sell it.

Your current injector data is way of m8.
