    2012 FX4 - Steady Pedal in Park - Intake is pulsating

    All, I have a 2012 FX4 3.5 Ecoboost that has a S&B Cold Air Intake. I was holding it at a steady 2000 rpm in park and the intake is pulsating. Increased suction for 3-5 seconds and then releases.... I hooked up to monitor it and see what was happening but I didn't see anything in the parameters I am monitoring that matched that oscillation cycle.

    I have been suspecting my phasers are going out. 183k miles. So I have been monitoring the cam errors. They are adjusting or showing all to have error approximately every 38 seconds.

    Log attached. Snapshots of cam movement occurring. I'll try to take a video of the sound the intake is making.

    Any help in pointing me in the right direction is appreciated.

    Your not under a load or anything, so kind of hard to get accurate data. Cam timing issues bad enough will almost always come with a CEL. Does this happen at cruise? What are your misfire counters showing?

    Thanks for the response! Misfire counters show zero misfires. I have narrowed the oscillation down to potentially the bypass opening and closing as shown in image attached but this is also in park and not under load. Only other thing I have found is the wastegate is showing around 25 and moving around but the Desired Wastegate shows closer to zero. I'm assuming these are the original turbos and need to be changed but I would like to be able to test them.

    My cousin had the same truck but his was brand new in 2012 and he says this truck doesn't have the same power his did.
