Looking for "How To" - capture a .hpt file to send in for PCM Purchase flashing

Just got my new MPVI3 registered/synced, account created, 6 credits bought. Next step is to 'Purchase' a new unlocked Dodge PCM, flashed with the hpt file that I will capture and send in to HPTuners.

So far, I've searched through the HPTuners site and Googled, using terms like "capture hpt file" and not much luck with finding a "How To" on this. I think I can do it, as I've done a little tuning a long time ago..... but ...... never with HPTuners.

Can someone point me to an article or video that shows how to correctly capture a complete .hpt file?

Sounds to me like they want you to just hook it up to the car, do a "virtual read" which will download a stock file for that car, and that file will be associated with your VIN, controller serial # etc.

haha, thanks Bill. I actually had started to watch that video last night, but the beginning seemed a little sketchy. With your obvious approval, I will follow those instructions carefully. I am grateful for the tip!!
