having issue with 04 6.0 ficm tuning

I am trying to tune a ficm on an 04 6.0 and it wont let me uncheck do not license file. I just did an 06 and I had not problem. Do I need to use the beta version?

Edit for anyone looking for the answer what i had to do is use the beta version and then write the vin in before i read them. Then read them all which assigns a vin to them. Then i had to read the ficm again by itself and now all is working good

just do a read only on the ficm.

I could read the ficm and everything fine but when i went to write to the truck it wouldnt let me uncheck do not license and all the module vins were a bunch of y’s. I had to do exactly what i wrote in the edit. Even tried to just wrote the ficm alone from the list of modules and it wouldnt. Just had to read it again after it got the vin wrote into it. Have noticed on 03-04 superduties our autel scanner cant find a vin either i think that is the problem

You have to click do not read when you first initiate a read. We go through this with the fuel module on the Chevy trucks as well.
