    Help Tuning a 2006 Solstice 2.4L LE5 Turbo

Long time lurker, first time poster. I need some guidance on tuning. I'm just getting into, despite owning an MPVI Pro for nearly a decade now. I followed Goat Rope Garage's videos, and I think I have a decent understanding, but I'd like someone with more experience than me to guide me in the right direction. I picked this thing up as a project several years ago and just now have the time and effort to get deeper into it. This post I'll just put the cars info, follow up post I'll explain where I am at with the tune.

    Car: 2006 Solstice with E67 Gen4 ECU
*Engine: Performance Autowerks built; filled and girdled block, Weisco pistons, forged rods, ARP hardware and headstuds, balance shaft delete, turbo kit, no cat, Magnaflow exhaust, massive aluminum radiator.
*Turbo kit: 2006-ish Werks kit, tubular header that ::should:: flow better than stock but is still sketchy to say the least, 38mm Tial wastegate with 7.25 psi spring, Tial blowoff valve, Garret 3071R, .68 A/R hot side, 3 bar map sensor, precision intercooler
*Fueling: 1100cc FIC injectors in a return style Saab 9-3 B207R fuel rail using the factory Saab turbo Fuel Pressure Regulator, unknown brand inline fuel pump under the car. New supply and return lines.
*Boost Control: Cortex EBC set to about 15psi boost. I have it wired for boost by gear and wired to the TPS, but don't have it programmed for it yet. I just put overboost protection on, dialed in the duty cycle to 15lbs, and left it there.
*Wideband: AEM-4110, wired to the MPVI Pro channel 1.
*Methanol Injection: AEM Pump, controlled by the Cortex EBC, but currently turned off. I can't get the Cortex controller to power on the pump. The AEM V3 that was on it WILL turn the pump on, but I haven't bothered to install it. I'll worry about methanol after I get it decently tuned.

The car was built by the PO as a supposedly 500hp straight line monster, and has a tune from EPC Racing in. It ran great when I got it with a manual boost controller but was unstable as all hell. Put the Cortex on it, got boost under control, and it drove much better. Then the header cracked and the wastegate flange broke off. Welded it back and fixed that issue. Then a badly kinked turbo drain killed the original 6262 turbo, and it sat for 2 years. In a pinch, I put a Maxpeeding GT3582 on it to drive it across country for a move, but did not fix the drain - turbo developed tons of play in less than 3000 miles. My fault. New/Used 3071R turbo went on, but had to use a 2.5" to 3" adapter flange. Turbo coolant lines melted. Built new ones. BEGI FPR started leaking fuel badly. Brass fitting were corroded too tight, so ditched it completely for the Saab Fuel Rail with a factory rising rate FPR, supposedly good for 400ish hp. Car runs mostly great now, but I don't think the downpipe is sealed to the turbo very well and it's sucking in air directly by the O2 sensors.

That is all the background info, I'll throw the tuning info into a second post.

    Tune and Logs

This was tuned in Idaho, and I'm in Colorado Springs at approx 5800ft. Attached is the AsFound tune, an AsFound Log, and another Log where I disabled Closed Loop for the drive home. Car drives 100x better in Open Loop. I'm hoping one of you fine folks can take a look and tell me if the tune is decent, and what I should be looking at to understand where it can be improved. Looking at the O2 sensor chart isn't oscillating properly, so I'm pretty sure I need to fix this exhaust leak before I continue on. Am I in the right ballpark with that evaluation?

I followed Goat Rope Garage and used his methods to get a bit of a start for setting up a MAF Error Chart and Speed Density Chart. Played with some others, didn't make any tune changes, just wanted to make sure I was graphing things correctly. Please take a look and tell me if I'm at least in the ballpark of doing the right thing. MAF Error Graph.PNGSpeed Density Chart.PNG

    send me a PM.
I can take a look at it. I have a turbo 2.2 ecotec Miata I finished tuning about a year ago. I would recommend you fix the exhaust leak so it can run 10x better and gather better data.
