Hey all, I'll keep this short and sweet. I have tried tune after tune. I recently did a single injection tune, it solved my haze issue and drove great! But the engine sounding like it was falling apart internally, was killing me so I cut the "base timing" (aka idle area for this discussion) from 8* to 6* and added a little pre injection. Helped but didn't do enough. So I gave all factory pre injection back, to start at a baseline again. Still is real noisy. I love the low end being a 10,000Lb flatbed dually 6-speed where I'm driving in town with a stop sign every half mile.
I'd be thrilled to be given some direction on where I can focus on next to preserve the low end, cut the haze during normal acceleration (light throttle), and take out some engine rattle. Thanks guys!
