Note the engine was a crate engine installed in the kit car so I have no idea what VIN (if any) is in the ECM (E40) and the ECM has been unlocked. Not sure either will cause any issues.
Firstly I am trying to resolve an intermitant P2138 Error (Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D/E Voltage Correlation)
After looking at other posts on this forum I strongly suspect a wiring issue between throttle and ECM
Especially as I have tried a second pedal and have had other (now resolved) electrical issues (is a kit car)
I wanted to be sure that I can see via the logged data the raw pedal Voltage D and E values using the MPVI3 to confirm this is the issue.
I would like to be confident it is the wiring as it is going to be a nightmare to tackle (kit car)
Secondly I will the likely increase idle RPM as looking to upgrade my altenator as car can draw too many AMPs when dual thermos are running (I drop to 11V)
If anyone has any advice or feedback about what I am looking to do that would be appreciated.
