    ARF warning light

    Hey guys,

I have done several searches and have only found one thread talking about turning on a warning light for the AFR gauge on HP tuners from 2016. Is there a way to turn on a warning light for the AFR gauge on HP tuners for a certain threshold i.e. to lean?

    IT'S NOT DO ABLE

Well, let's see I'll break down your questions about my question so that you can better understand what I'm asking.
Your Question: in what, Answer HP tuners. My bad for not saying that I just figured its a question asked on HPtuners in a forum specific to VCM questions not vehicles or anything else, so I thought that was self-explanatory.
Your Question: A 2016 what?, Answer a Thread from 2016. my question literally says "one thread talking about turning on a warning light for AFR gauge from 2016"

Are you talking about an aftermarket wideband triggering a light? A stock narrowband triggering a MIL? Your question is too open ended to have an answer. You need to be specific about what you want to do. Maybe you know what you are trying to do, but no one else does.

Are you talking about the gauges in HPTuners or something else?

Do you have a wideband working currently?

This isn't nearly as specific as you seem to think it is.

I'm looking to see if there is a way to have the gauge flash red when it hits a certain threshold.

So, you have some version of an aftermarket wideband gauge feeding into HPT and an HPT Gauge that displays the wideband info on the laptop? And you want the HPT Gauge to change colors once it hits a lean threshold?

Yes, nothing in the instructions for the gauges that indicate it can be done either.

delete gauges from layout first time you open scanner

install whatever aftermarket gauges and lights you require in on or under your vehicles dashboard

after you make a pass, use chart vs time and graphs to view your data

Not sure what Mr. Smith was or wasn't able to do, but his instructions for the AFR gauge are for changing the outer edge colors, not for a live warning once a setting is reached.

Then what is he talking about with the "red alert warning light"?

How are the warning bands set up differently in your example ECT and IAT gauges? Or will the IAT face turn red when the IAT exceeds 110 degrees? And maybe yellow at IAT of 100?
