My name is Evandro Campos, I live in Brazil and I recently bought an MPVI3 to carry out vehicle diagnostics.
I also bought the adapter cables for the Polaris and BRB groupset.
My doubt is whether these vehicles have any protection in the module to connect the HPT or is it free for diagnostics and editing of injection maps.

its free for diag and editing, but for writing you need to buy credits
if its a mg1 ecu, things goes different,ypu need to unlock.

As JT said its free to view, but also keep in mind if you intend to datalog for diagnosis the PIDs are very limited without applying the extended datastream which will require you to license each ECU you are working on.
Thanks for answering. How is this unlocking done? If I need it, yes, I understand that I will need to purchase credits to make changes to the maps. It was a translation error about it being free heheh
