    24 Canyon LT4 Swap

Ok guys I'm a complete noob. I don't know anything about tuning or Global B except it can be a pain to get everything to authenticate on the CAN network. I am wanting to swap a LT4 into a 24 Canyon. I know global B is going to make this a real challenge. Is there a way to get that done and have everything work properly. I have called and talked to several reputable tuners, some of which may be reading this. Everyone so far is not interested in trying it or says it is impossible. Is this a non starter or can it be done? I have heard from one person saying to change the stock E01 ecm that comes in the truck to control the 2.7 from 2 bar OS to one bar and segment swap over everything and tune from there. Is this doable? Could I take the engine harness out of a full size truck that comes with both the 2.7 and the Gen V V8 and use that in the canyon by having the E90 ECM reprogrammed with the proper vin? I'm spitballing here because I don't fully understand all of this. Any thoughts

    Thanks

I?m the last guy to ever say ?that can?t be done? (today I?ll be the first) I?ve done a few swaps on newer stuff.. I?m gonna go ahead and say you?re probably at least 7-8 years away from knowing any of these answers. Not many people will take a brand new truck and experiment with it the way you are talking, without any knowledge of what can and can?t be done. I mean you could definitely gut the electrical system and do a standalone setup in the truck but you?d be very deep into trying to get the rest of your electronics to function, as damn near every computer in the newer cars are connected to can-bus. And might I add, there?s a lot of fucking computers lol. Don?t get me wrong, I?d love to see it, but you?d also probably have a lot of fabrication just in getting the engine to fit between the frame rails as well.
