    2006 silverado 5.3

i have installed a chopacbra cam from texas speed. having issues with a rich idle and sometimes the truck dying when slowing down to a stop sign or red lights. I am new to this and willing to learn. Just not sure what to mess with, don?t want to just go around and mess with things at random. Any advice would be great!

Post a data log and the current tune. If you dont know how, use the "Go Advanced" button on the reply box and then use the paperclip symbol to add the files. We cant help if we cant see the data...

VVE tuning is the most overlooked thing by far and makes the biggest difference in situations just like this.

There are a lot of I've never tuned anything before people here and they can get confused with wrong terminology.

Fair point lol i just assumed everyone KNEW he was talking about VE, not VVE. But you are correct, this would be confusing for new guys. VVE is gen4+ for those that dont know.

getting VE dialed in is number 1

without a near perfect VE table, everything barely works
