    09 g8 gt ls3 swap idle

Having some issue with a car i just finished. Car is a 09 G8 gt with a 6.2 swap btr red hot cam. I got the car to fire up and idle decently but after idling for a while it whill start to search for idle and or stall. Also putting the car into reverse or drive will cause it to stall. Any input is appreciated

    G8 idle misfire.jpg

You have a bad misfire on bank 1. And you have a whole bunch of knock retard the whole time.

The engine is not running right.

    BRAF is WAY too high.

WTF is up with the high octane table???

Brother, you need to hire someone. This is not how tuning works, and your min final airflow is set to 20+ g/s as well.

sorry guys that was my mistake i posted the wrong tune thats currently uploaded. the tune i posted was me trying to get the idle in order. most if not all of those idle trim tables have been turn back to stock. i recently noticed the knock on the last log, previous logs didnt show any knock at all. ill post the tune im going to flash into the car now and get a new log aswell. also when running all misfires on each cylinder it shows no miss fires, but i do hear a small exhaust leak coming from the lower header flange

I don't care what "it shows" for misfires, it had a misfire on bank 1. A bad one. And now it looks like that bank is completely dead. The bank 1 trims are maxed at +25% and the O2 is basically zero. Congrats you've gone from bad to worse.

Your BRAF is still WAY WAY too high. There's no reason it should require 20 g/sec to idle. That's basically twice what it should idle at.

I'd agree you may be better off paying someone to get you going.

This is honestly going to be a bit advanced for a new tuner to handle.

There is a reasonable chance the o2's are plugged into the wrong bank. I've seen it before with 2010+ camaros and the harness lays similar to that.

This is the current tune i have uploaded. After some diag i figured that the missfire i was feeling under load was due to fake ebay coils. I also reccomended that he gets accel ceramic plugs due the stock wires being to close to the headers.

Ive acutally tuned quite a few cars, mostly gen3. People come to get information not feelings from grown men

However i do Appreciate the "info" Ill post another log after the customer gets in the replacement wires
