Help with tuning it, or a tune file you can plug in and go? Pick one or the other, you asked for both.

    Plug in would be preferred.

Nobody is really going to have that to be honest. Every vehicle is different and every vehicle will require some fine tuning to get right.

The combo you have is pretty custom, so it needs a custom tune to really get things right.

The biggest help for yourself is providing all the information that someone would need to help you here.

Is this a crate engine or something you built?
Is the tune already setup to run that engine, injectors, fuel system etc etc or has nothing been done yet?

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Your best bet here is to post you tune file and list all the mods done to the engine.

This way we can see how this tune was setup and make sure things are correct. Like if it's running the correct injector data, if the tire size is correct, if the gear ratio is correct and all that stuff.

...and still no tune file. Just because you don't know what somebody else would need it for does not mean they are stupid for asking you to post it.

He is saying why haven't you post your tune file yet?

We still have no idea what the tune is like right now, so we have no way of helping you without that. I thought that was pretty clear.

Holy cow are those timing tables horrible. You're better off going back to stock on those. This isn't a small block 350, it will run better with a stock like timing curve.

What about the shifting on the transmission is bad? What is it doing that you don't like?

Can you data log it running and show what is not good about it?

What fuel are you running? Thats going to determine timing with that compression.

Shifting into reverse sounds like a trans builder turned up the pressures.

    What height are your tires?

Pressure needs to be checked with a gauge to determine if its in spec.
Is this a built or a stock transmission?
    TM is a personal preference

Shift scheduling is also another personal preference

These engine can run 30-40 degrees of timing at part throttle no problem, that is a happy spot for them. All of the GM calibrations for these LS engines run timing there. At full throttle that is a different story, lower timing likely in the 20's is better.

Could I get you to look at my thread I started? It?s listed in the gen4 v8 page.
