    coldstart/surging

    CAR

    98 camaro
    408
    afr 225's
    g5x3
    fast 90/90
    85mm delphi maf
    auto 3500 stall

    symptoms
    the car was tuned by a "pro" on a dyno but its having issues with the following.
    cold start= does not stay on shuts off instantly=
    warm idle= surges then shuts off
    and when i do a dryhop to see if i got some traction(on the street)the car shuts off when i hit the brakes. anyhelp is welcome thanks.

    in my opinion, your idle speed it too low on cold starts, your VE table is WAY WAY screwed up, PE is screwed up, high octane table isnt pretty, over and underspeed could be more aggressive, you can zero out your EGR timing...just to name a few.

    Looks like you have way too much idle airflow as well.

    Look at the butchery in the HO table.... Also MAF peaks at low 300s now

    I'd start with a stock tune and retune from there.

    Not to mention the Primary & 2ndary VE don't match...

    And they did something I think is dangerous:
    They put the Min Spark Advance vs RPM table to 18 degrees across the board. Timing will never drop below 18 degrees because of that. Not good if the engine knocks and it can't pull timing!
