    usb not detection MPVI 2

    Seems like every time I plug the MPVI 3 into my windows 10 laptop it never detects. Is my unit defective? Takes me resets and and wall kicking before it takes. Have the latest windows USB drivers. None of my other USB drivers have any issues at all. Why is this thing so finnicky? It will also kick in if I plug it into the OBD2 port. Any advise?

    I would suggest trying a new usbc cable, this is a cheap test to rule that out.

    That seems to be working for me. The one that came with the unit still works but only while plugged into the OBD2 port. Problem is that I stand alone log and tune. Maybe yall can think of some way to make it more robust in the firmware. And/or get it to work with straight USB-C cables instead of 3.1 to usb-c. Either way Im good now with this easy fix.
