They determine the Open Loop Air Fuel Ratio commanded before going into closed loop. Exception is Power Enrichment fuel: If PE fuel is richer it is used, if OLAFR is richer, it will be used.

is there any open loop timing tables? Im doing some Open loop fuel tuning and im seeing really odd timing amounts(very low)
ECT (coolant) Spark Base sounds like what you are looking for.

I think Bill said once that open loop will put you onto the Low Octane table. So if you are tuning open loop, copy the High Octane table to the Low Octane table. (so they are both the values of the HIgh Octane table.
