    96 cavy 2.4

whats the difference in the 96/97 cavy PCM's for the 2.4's?

can we load a 97 tune in the 96 ECM or is the 97 ECM compatible with the 96 harness?

basically is there anyway of getting this car compatible?

Simply put, it's the oddball PCM out of the 2.4L LD9 motors. Older OBD2 that was a bit funky and not worth messing with for the HPT guys, so it seems.

The only real way around this would be:...............

Basically you have to get a newer 1997+ PCM and get a sheet with all the pinouts for the PCM and rewire your harness to the 1997 or later model year PCM, or you can just get a 1997+ PCM with it's corresponding wiring harness and go that route. A junkyard would be of the most help to you in getting those things.
