I need the 96-97 to 0411 conversion file and also the 96-97 to 98-99 conversion file. I will swap my truck to the 0411 and I want to test with a friends truck doing the conversion from 96 (Vortec) to 98 black box to be able to tune it with HPTuners.

Let's be real here guys $20 isn't a big deal. Lextech has been supplying anyone and their dog the spreadsheets for years for free. Honestly had I not already received all the spreadsheets from him. I would be first in line to spend $20 for all the work he put in over the years. Also guys you can purchase alldata and find any pinout/terminal information you need. I suggest you guys check the prices one has to fork out for information of the sorts. You'll find he is very reasonable reliable.

I am new to this forum. I am currently building a 97 3500 crew cab dually. Truck originally had a 454 with the NV 4500 trans. When i purchased the truck the engine was locked up. I have bored and stroked it to a 489. Replaced the vortec heads for a better flowing set. Lunati Voodoo hydraulic roller, headers, Blue Demon 42 lbs injectors. Now i am wanting to do the 411 swap. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the pin swap location. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Carl

Get the codes from Lextech. I did, followed the instructions carefully and fired on first turn of the key. I had 2 codes, the Case Learn error which Lextech told me I would have and a 2nd code due to a pin not pushed in all the way. My error.
