    question on credits

Time for a noob question, sorry.

If want to be able to tune any LS1/6 that comes out of a 98-02 Firebird or 97-04 Corvette it would cost 12 credits to buy the two year/model categories correct? Im just trying to get a graps on how many credits I need to purchase to do what I need to do. I understand I can buy 2 credits everytime I want to do a different computer, but confused on buying rights to whole groups. Thanks.

its 6 credits to tune 1 year/model ie 1999 camaro/firebird would be 6 credits. So to get what you want from 98 thru 02 fbody & 97-04 Vettes you'd be better off buying the tunershop package at 30 total credits.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    so another question...

If I have a computer that has a 2002 chevy truck tune on it, and I want to delete it and put a 2000 chevy truck tune on it, do I need to buy rights to both 2002 and 2000 or just 2000?

If it's an engine swap type application, I would use the 2002 truck tune. Much improved Operating System from the 2000.

Frankly you can use either. If you were using a cable throttle you could use an 01-02 F-body cal as well.
