    Scanning other makes?

I have HPTuners for my 98 Formula. It is the standard version (not MPVI). Is the scanner portion of the VCM suite able to scan other OBDII makes? Am I able to scan the codes in say a 2000 Ford Ranger? I need the Ford specific codes as opposed to the standard SAE codes. I've already tried the Actron scanner and it reports no codes.

    Thanks

currently it will scan any vehicle on our supported vehicle list, but no other vehicles are guaranteed.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

It currently scans GM, very shortly ford, then dodge, then sometime down the line possibly other makes/models. Boxsters won't be for a long long while if ever.
