Sounds like your LTFTs are near there max positive limits. What's done to the car modification wise? Have you done any data logging with the scanner yet?

There are a few other things that can cause that. Do you use a K&N filter or any other filter that uses oil? Another thing is the MAF could be dying but I doubt it at this time.

BTW:So people don't have to look it up.

    Re: codes p0171 and p01774

got the car 4 months ago it has, gm hot cam,3200 stall 3.42 gears, hooker long tube headers, egr capped off and ed wright tuning. i added hooker exhaust , mti lid, nitto tires and torque thrust 2s and paint. car was running rough(wanting to stall out at lights) so i bumped the idle up from 750 to 900, now it idles good. did a log run like that. but since then i got another persons bin. file for trans shifts and pressure, air fuel mixer thats when it threw the codes so i edited the air/fuel back to where it was,and cleared the codes but they popped back again. i'm very new to this( can't find anyone relable thats local to tune my car)and really don't have much of a clue as to what i'm doing, i paint cars for a living so this is above my head ???

thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Hey, when I take the car out to try and data log it, how long should I take it out? Should I just take it out and drive it under normal conditions and then a couple of WOT runs? If any of you now how to read the logs, I will send it to you so you can check it out.

thanks for the replies and help,

    Wayne

You want to do one of two types of Logs.

    Part throttle testing and logging
    WOT Loggin.

but it is best not to mix them much if you can.

You want to do your Part Throttle logging for at least 20 min of possibe and hit as many cells in the historgram as possible without WOTS.

What I do it log on the way to and from work, then on my way home I have a 1mile stright on hills testing ground lol.

I pull over stop my log, then restart it for a short WOT logging session of 1st-4th.
