    Can I not edit a friend's tune?H

    he has an 06
I have an 03- I have 03 MY unlocked only

He emailed me is tune. I changed some stuff. I'm sending it to him (he has 06 unlocked). Why cant I click "save" after making changes and send it back to him?

you'd need to license the file to be able to save modifications.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I dont want to load it on his truck, just save the file. I cant save the file on my hard drive after modifying it? What is the logic behind that?

The logic behind it is to keep people from doing email tuning & charging for it(yes some actually charge people to send out a tune) and not having to pay for these licenses.

The owner already paid for the license...:wtf:

You cant write anything without the license...
