    Re: Guys need some advice

    1) may differ a lot if one is an A4 and one is a M6, or electronic
vs cable throttle+IAC, etc.? My '02 Camaro SS A4 has 0.15/0.37.

2)Both are absurd and equally impossible, hence equally correct

    3) Mine is 94/84%. It's a matter of taste, all are "correct" and all
could change to suit the owner's preference. There is a part throttle
shift table, though, so no real point in setting it below the last entry
there (94%). 99% however might never be hit, if you have any small
slack or bump-stop limits keeping you from fully opening. I bet the
99% is off an electronic-throttle car.

    4) Probably just PCM model differences, I never see -40 or +19F.
You would only bother with this if you had a misfire problem dogging
you in cold weather, that somehow you didn't want to know about.

    Thanks jimmyblue
Know after your answer I think it is realistic
What do you advice to do with the car....I have a CAM and I was thinking to make the RPM from 650 to 700or750 because the care sometime droop too much which make the almost stop.

I think the K&N should go away. What size cam, might as well
post the standard specs? You would want to raise idle I'm sure,
and edit the VE table for the cam's effects; how extensively
depends on the cam and other plumbing. Do you have an
    aftermarket torque converter?

Ask him if he knows what the "duration" is.

It is the angle on the cam between which the intake and exhaust valves are open. It will be included in the spec of the cam.

    Re: Guys need some advice

    UAE_77,
Duration is the measurement of time in degrees of (crank or cam rotation?) the the valve stays open. It should be a number like 2xx (ex:224) or the intake and exhaust could be different (226/232). This is way simplified as you can start a whole message board on cam theory. I use to have some good articles, if I come across them I'll email them to you.
