    I6 tuning for mpg

Just curious to see what mpg people are getting from their 4.2's and what they are tuning. I have been getting around 24-25 on the hwy from my envoy xuv with just a mild tune.

stock I ws getting around 21-22. I am leaving for a 800 mile trip tonight so i am going to use my 87 octane tune for the way there and then my 93 octane tune on the way back to see what is better. I have made alot of changes thanks to some memebers on here. NO TM, upped timing, changed shift points. Nothing major, still in the process of tuning. My truck is stock except for TB spacer and drop in K&N

Well with about 400lbs of luggage and 540lbs of people i got alittle over 23mpg. That was cruising at 85-95 and going WOT a few times and this was on 87 octane. I have made a few more tuning changes and I am going to step up to 89 octane for the first tank on the way home to see if that will help.
