    Tuning I5 w/ wideband

I am trying to find .hst to tune a I5 Canyon's multiple VE tables w/ a wideband(LM1). I found and downloaded the LTFT ones. Can I just
    convert those?

yeah just change the sensor to afr error from LTFT.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Just install the WB in place of the front O2 sensor. This way the vehicle stays in open loop.

    Thanks,

I am gathering info now, I'll post .cfg & .hst files as I am trying to build now, before I start tuning.I tried to change the LTFT sensor to AFR error, but I only see AFR and Comm. AFR to choose from. I have a custom PID for my LM1 so HPT and LM1 read the same.

Here is my SD tune to start w/ .......
I plan on using the front O2 w/ my LM1, will I need to go to the Eng. Diag./ DTC and disable the front O2 to use that bung?

No need to disable any O2 codes, or to disable closed loop. The engine will just stay in open loop with the O2 unplugged/removed.

    Ok Thanks,
I'm on about my 3rd round of tuning the VE(s) via wideband.
Everything is going OK so far, except for the fact I see all kinds of KR.
We'll get to that in a couple of hours.......

Are you seeing Total Knock Retard or Knock Retard. Total KR includes burst KR which is VERY aggressive on the I5's.

8hrs in VE's and MAF w/ LM1 in front sensor. everything seemed to be fine, and respond well as I mult. by 1/2 %. everything was between +/- 4%.

I think it was total KR that I was logging, where I saw alot of 3 n 4's(max view)all over above 15% TPS.
To tune the timing, I need to be logging Burst and Totak KR?

Attached are the .cfg and .hpt files that I ended up with so far.
I modified the VE tables as well as the MAF via LM1. The truck is bone stock w/ 6k miles.

    I think it's a 3.5.
I gotta hook back up this weekend, I forgot to turn off the speedlimiter . I'm gonna hook LM1 back and check the tune I left in it. Although he says the truck runs great.
