    1/2nd gear lean

    I just started tuning with HP tuners. I drive a 2006 cobalt with a 2.8 and 60#

I'm finding that @ wot in second gear as the revs climb I don't richen up with stays in the 12's and sometimes 13's.

Wen I shift into 3rd it goes right where it needs to be, mid to low 11's.

What's causing it, How can I fix it??

Yeah, well I was running a tune From Tag race craft, I knew it was shit. So I tried to get it tuned at a local tune shop. He is new to the program but not new to tuning. I don't have my wideband readings logged. I don't think I can w/ my version. we were tuning off what we red on it.

If anyone knows how to see what load and rpm you running while I'm diving I could fix it. My tuner said on his usual program when you running the car with the VE tables open a dot appears on that load and RPM you are at. Is there anyway to do that with HP tuners?????

if you dont have the po version you can bring a laptop with you and record rpm etc realtime and save it. you could sneak the wideband voltage through the ac sensor too. check cobaltss.net for that info int he how to's.

Sounds like maybe for some reason your MAF table could be off? but like Jimi said without seeing a scan/tune we can't really help you.

IDK why. Everytime I shift gears I get richer.

i would set your fuel flow table up like this. then go to the table below flow called voltage vs flow and set them all to 2 from the low volt to the 13 volt.
