    PCM P0300 code

I have been tuneing the VE and now beginning the MAF and I have not been monitoring the DTC codes because the car is running well and forgeting to...
well in about half the time the SES light has been comming on and I looked today and it has the P0300 engine misfire detected (SES), does anyone know what is causing this, if the engine is missfireing I do not feel it or hear it, my exhaust is not quiet but not real loud either, dont know mabee it is and I am just not hearing or feeling it,...is this dangerous to the engine?

any help or ideas where to go will be appreciated

a starting point would be to scan your misfires and see if you can pinpoint a certain cylinder. Some cam cars will throw this code, although I rarely see it ever happen on the cars I do.

I added the current cylender misfire for all 8 cylenders to the table and when scanning the numbers go way up to approx. 14 to 18 then settle to 0, is this right? or am I not doing this right?

We have been getting the same code after a cam install. So we are also trying to figure it out.
