    07 Saturn Sky Write Failure

Got a customized Saturn Sky in today. Download went fine, datalogging was fine. Made a single change to the injector sizing and did a write. Under gathering information, VCM Editor noted "VCM Recovery" in red letters. The rest of the write process proceeded apace through the "erasing VCM" stage. During the "writing calibration" phase, the write failed at loc 1C0000. The vehicle will not even crank now and restarting the software and rewriting, even with the original calibration, does not help.

Any assistance is appreciated as the car was driven to me and now it can't leave.

The newer 2.4 sky's use GM's E67 pcm which requires a write entire each time and will not take a write calibration only. Its a gm bug with no workaround.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Yeah, we've put a blurb about it in the help file for the next public release so we can just point to that

I had the same issues with a 2007 Cobalt SS/SC. What I had to end up doing after a write only calibration when it failed was load the stock tune back on and did an entire re-write with the custom tune again and tada!
