Close out your editor, then go to Start-All Programs-VCM editor-File-open and open the file you want to license. Unfortunatly it was a bug that made its way into the last public release that we didn't catch & thats the fix.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I get that validate cable license failed all the time now using the scanner since upgrading!
