well...I installed my 2000 Camaro SS radio in my 97 Oldsmobile Achieva....

so the radio in my Achieva just kind of sucked ass....
so I got creative..
I had a Stereo From my old 2000 SS Camaro sitting in the basement....
I found the wiring diagram for the connectors on the back somewere online...
found the wiring for my 97 Achieva.....also found it online...

did some custom soldering to add some wires to the 2000 SS radio since I didnt want to spend any money on buying connectors and other needed stuff...mostly cause I was feeling cheap about it..LOL

got into the dash of my achieva...realixed that I was gonna have to do a custom modification to the bracket from the stock radio....hammer...snips...Sawzall...and 45 minutes later.....
Whammo...2000 Camaro SS Monsoon Head unit installed in my 97 Oldsmobile Achieva...
it made an amazing sound quality difference...
I might actually enjoy listening to music in my car agin because of it..
plus now I have a cd player for the car where the old stereo had a non functional cassette eater...LOL
