    These are CAN based vehicles

    Got this info from a site that deals with ford scanning and diagnostics..

    Here's what they state are CAN based vehicles from Ford so far. Just to help people not get confused with what they have.

    Models 2003 and up
    Ford Focus with a 2.3L engine only
    Ford F150, except F150 Heritage
    Ford Excursion (with 6.0L diesel only)
    Ford Explorer
    Ford Taurus
    Ford Thunderbird
    Lincoln LS
    Mercury Mountaineer
    Mercury Sable

    The percentage of ford vehicles that will be using CAN moving forward are:
    50% in 2004
    85% in 2005
    90% in 2006
    100% in 2007

    So quick question isn't the CAN setup the same VW uses? Not to get off on another make but just curious... does that mean HPTuners will work with VW in future?
