    no advance...

    just fired up my new set up and the advance is so low...why?
    the coolant temps are too high also. the stat must have taken a crap..
    log is short, dont wanna run it ike that.

    I would go to the ECT spark table & change any negative values to 0. Then zero the Cat Light off spark table. The values are listed as positive timing, but I believe that this table actually retards the timing to heat the Cats up quicker.

    Whats with the 25% LTFT's?

    the is literally the first time the motor has run.
    i fattened it up an additional 25% across the board...ill see were that gets me.

    even w/ect @ cooler #s timing low. ill take a look as the cat light table.

    As for the ECT spark table, I meant to say that any negative values below 176*F need to be zeroed. What size injectors are you using? Looks like the IFR table is too high, causing the positive LTFT's.

    yeah i went and zeroed 176* down to .52 grams

    with old motor i had no low timing issues......
    cat light off wasnt in old versions???
    russ what else could cause this?

    Try this config to see what's going on. It has a bunch of spark parameters for you to log. Then we will know where the "missing" spark has gone.

    found it i believe...vacuum leak were the ls2 map sensor use to be......
    i run old school gm 2 bar and never even seen an ls2 manifold up close
    so i guess thats why tp % so low too....`
    my prevoius set up was ls6 so.................my bad

    You don't want reduced spark timing as the engine is warming up.
