'06 GTO fans on '07 TBSS question

I have a set of 06 GTO dual electric fans, and a '07 TBSS......I was thinking of hooking them up to a Flex-a-lite Variable Speed Controller (VSC) so that I could get the temp down below the 192* minimum that is in the computer that I read on a previous fan thread, and so I can turn them on manually at the track. My questions are: 1) will I be able to run the fans this way; and 2) can I keep the SES light from qoing haywire with HPTuners or will it always say SES?

I just got the vehicle 2 weeks ago and I am in the process of modding it, dont have HPTuners yet but hope to purchase it by next week(waiting on payday).

If the TBSS has a standard clutch fan, adding electrics with a separate controller won't change anything as far as the program/HP Tuners goes.

Alright, I believe its an electronic clutch fan according to my friend. As long as it will run, and I can get the SES light to stay off I will be more than happy. Thanks for the reply EC Tune.
