    Flashing Red Error Light !!!!!!

My MPVI started acting up last week. When I try to do stand alone logging with it the red ERR light flashes. Green light is on. Red Record light will not come on.

This used to be an infrequent nuisance that I corrected by writing a new config to the unit. But this did not work this time. I made a new config file that I tried this morning with the same results.....cannot record.

I just loaded the default config and will try it on the way home from work.

    HELP PLEASE

Are you writing the config remotely or while your connected to the vehicle & hitting the connect button then writing it?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    I foiund the problem.

The screws backed off from the cable to box plug and it was a little loose.

Pisses me off cause I really wanted to do some OLSD logs at the track last weekend.

I had myself convinced it was a software corruption problem. But when I uploaded the default config and it still wouldn't record I picked up the unit and was about to throw it out the window when I noticed the plug slightly loose....
