I'm getting ready to loose my performance mode settings in my Grand Prix until HPT gives us the setting to turn it on later. In the meantime I want to try and replicate performance mode which I run in all time. Here is my question.
In the transmission area in the Auto Shift speed tab, there is listings for Normal and Performance. If I take my old settings from Performance (which will not be available once I reflash the PCM) and plug them into the normal tables, will this effectively give me my performance shift settings I used to have?
I'm looking at doing this in the Part Throttle shift, Full throttle shift speed and Full throttle shift RPM tables.
Is this the right area to change to give my performance setting without having the performance shift option?
