Serial number change

I am changing the boxes that I use on my laptop and can't use the new one because it says "serial number mismatch". How do I change the serial number over? Do I have to completely remove the software? I would like to continue to use the old box if possible (it is a customer's for his car).

If anyone knows, please let me know.

So you have two different cables you're trying to use? I believe you just need to update the application key each time to match the cable you're using.

yup, update the app key & resync your licenses by going to help-license info and click the blue hp icon while your interface is connected.
