    Startup Idle Flare

What do I do to lower the amount that the idle flares up, on startup it flares up fairly high and is kinda slow to come back down. I would like to get the flare to a min.. I just installed new exhaust and on startup it barks REAL loud. I never really realized how much it flairs up until now...

startup airflow or frictional airflow will decrease that.

So do I decrease the values to decrease the flair? Sorry I dont have access to HPT to look right now. I was looking this morning in my tune and did see anything that caught my eye.

you need to make sure you are not giving it too much air, that is normally the issue. Post a log scanning idle parameters and your tune.

Also look at Park Position Airflow. Reduce as necessary.
