04 silverado, front & rear wheel speeds different

Just installed a lift kit, 4,88 gears and 36 inch tires plus an HP tune where I also calibrated the tire and gear settings.

Now ABS light comes on and when watching wheel speeds with Tech2 front and rear wheel speeds are different by 2 mph which is what turned the abs light on.

I fixed the problem by chaning the tire size in the abs module using the Tech2 until the front and rear wheel speeds agreed.

Is this a bug or do I have to do this any time we change gears and tires?

Our software does not calibrate the abs module, if the abs modules settings differ too much from the pcm's settings it will set a code, in which case you will need to program the abs module. Not a bug, just not a module we support for programming.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Tech 2 can help remedy the situation. You need to be in the ABS reprogramming portion and select the largest tire available. That should get you back into the range of reasonability.
