    Shift Firmness...

I read that if you have HPTuners, you can remove the B&M Shiftplus because HPTuners can do the same thing??? Is this true? Can HPTuners do the same or is B&M Better? How do i adjust the shift firmness if possible?

    Thanks!

I am not familiar with B/m's products in particular, but I would have to take an educated guess that HpTUners is by FAR SUPERIOR. B$M is a tranny company and Hp has state of the art vcm tuning, which usually includes access to hundreds of parameters for the transmission.
That type of vehicle do you have?

if the b&m thing you are talking about is the shift kit that goes into the tranny, then no HPT can not do the same thing. If it is a program to control the TCU/ECU then I would say yes.

i believe the shift plus is just a module that alters the transmission parameters if i am not mistaken, so in that case i would definitely get rid of it once using the hptuners

Desired shift time at about .350 has always worked for me.

The B&M Shift Plus (The "plug-in" style) only raises the pressure levels... The shift points remain the same. So, yeah... The HP Tuner setup will be way better.
