Its instant, Once your complete the order just login to customer center and click the link to recieve your new application key then check your mail. If you just wait for them to mail the new key it will take a while.

Yeah, easiest way to check is by simply logging into your customer page...an app key is instantly sent but if your email rejects it you might want to consider changing to a new email addy.
