    VATS disable on LBZ

I have a Hummer H2 with a LBZ drivetrain dropped in it and the motor would start up then turn off 2 sec later, it is acting just like the VATS is turning it off. So i disabled the VATS and nothing changed, still turns on then 2 sec later turns right back off.
This H2 does not have the BCM to go with the LBZ pcm, do i need the BCM as it works with the VATS? I thought just disabling the VATS would eliminate the need for the BCM.
    Any input would help.

i seem to remember that some years of DMax's had issues with the vats and were nearly impossible for swaps. There are some companies that specialize in the saps for surburbans and they would be best able to help you with what they have learned in that area. I recently read a piece on it, it may have been the oct issue of diesel power.

    good luck

In most vehicles you also must set the vehicle security codes to no error reported.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I don't believe HPT has the VATS value correct, so you won't be able to do this until they get it solved.

This was the sole purpose for my vcm purchase. Any idea where I can have my ECM programmed to erase the VATS??

BILL... any update as to when this feature may be available?

Our head engineer was looking into it, he found a couple of things it might be. I'll follow up with him tomorrow to see where he's at with it.

New beta up with several new VATS tables in the LBZ calibrations, I've posted the beta for ls1andvortec as well as programmer's accounts. If anyone else would like this beta please email support with your serial number & a link to this thread.

    Thanks,
    Bill
