Problem with adapter and Vista Ultimate 64 bit OS

I have an HP DV9000 laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit operating system. My HP Tuners loads just fine and opens up. I am using a keyspand serial to usb adapter part number USA-19HS. The driver has been loaded successfully but when I try and connect to the vehicle it says that the device is not recognized. Is there a fix to this? Do you have a recommended usb adapter that will work with this operating system or do I have to upgrade to the MVPI usb system? Serial number is 0000920115 for the HP Tuners cable.

It's not your adapter's fault. You're not the only one wth Vista Ultimate that can't get it to work.

Specific to 64 bit I take it?

Vista 32 bit is working fine for me. Well, with the newer USB based interface.

The keyspan is a good USB/Serial adapter. Never had a problem with it, on another device, under Vista 32bit either.

...not specific to Ultimate... 64 bit Home Premium and it won't see the MPVI either...
